Using line, shape and colour to design a sense of place.

From crafting my own clothes as a child to designing bespoke furniture solutions as a teenager, creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do. When I couldn’t find the perfect unit to house my ever-growing music collection, I simply designed one myself and looking back, that instinct to create, improve and reimagine has shaped my entire journey.

My professional life has been rich and varied. I built a successful career as a Business Analyst in the City of London, where I developed a sharp eye for identifying what works, what doesn’t, and how to make things better a skill set that, as it turns out, translates beautifully into garden design. Alongside my career, I furthered my passion for creativity by studying Design & Innovation and Information Technology at the Open University.

A significant turning point led me to pursue Architecture at the University of Greenwich, an experience that truly unlocked my imagination and opened my eyes to the extraordinary possibilities of form, space and structure. Working within an architectural practice during this time gave me a taste of a truly creative environment , a world away from the corporate structures of financial and technology companies, and one I never wanted to leave behind.

Garden design had been calling to me since 2017, when I first completed a Diploma in Garden Design at the British Academy of Garden Design. Life, as it often does, had other plans but my passion never wavered. I continued nurturing my own outdoor space throughout, keeping that creative connection to the garden very much alive.

Now, having recently graduated from the prestigious Inchbald School of Design with a Diploma in Garden Design, I am ready to bring together everything I have learned the analytical thinking, the architectural vision, the lifelong love of design and channel it into creating beautiful, thoughtful gardens.
