St George’s Square Garden, Pimlico
A public garden area in a part of London where garden space is at a premium, currently styled in its original design of wide ‘promenading’ paths below large London Plane trees and a large ‘grass’ area and a separate ‘dog’ section.
Design is to provide a ‘garden’ environment to the local residents and inhabitants, including herbs, flowers and fruit which represent the red and white of St George and the Georgian flag, as the embassy is close by. An environment which can be used for multiple uses, while keeping the original character of the space with the original central circle and central entry points but with additional interest and entry points. A re-invigorated dog section rather than a muddy quagmire for investigation and play.
